A friend of ours recommended Auckland Express Movers to us and so we gave them a call to quote for an Auckland to Waitarere Beach move. Salvin dropped around at short notice and later that night we received his quote which was very good value compared to other quotes we had received, Due to Covid and changing rules around moving we had to keep changing our move dates however Salvin and his team were very flexible and in the end did our move over a Satureday / Sunday for no extra cost. Called two days ago to get a quote for moving cars from Auckland to another city in North Island. Their website indicates they do car transportations as well. The guy on the phone was friendly and said it would cost around $280 per vehicle with discount as I have 3 of them to be transported. He would then call me back the next day, now 48 hours has gone by and have not heard from them at all. Whether the job is too small or difficult, or they are too busy to care- they should keep the promise when they said they will call the customer back. Not a good first impression, if they can't do this one simple thing well then can I trust them on the actual move? I have wasted two days waiting for their call. Not good at all.

Utilized their services while moving from Auckland to Christchurch. Very nicely done and on time. They promised a cashback of 5% - however, I haven't yet received the same.

Fantastic service. I had a difficult driveway and whilst most of my stuff was pretty 'normal' I had a 190L oak barrel full of beer that needed moving up some outdoor stairs and these guys managed it. The house move was fast and the team just got on with it. I was a little concerned when a little truck showed up but it turned out they'd taken the initiative to send 2 smaller trucks to make getting up our steep narrow driveway better. Really happy with this service all around, from the initial booking to completion. Great rates (I did plenty of calling around). Movers showed up a little bit early and called on their way. The truck was clean and tidy, the packing was 10/10 with blankets and ties keeping everything in like perfect Tetris. The movers worked really fast but then slowed right down for the careful objects at the new place. Would definitely recommend these movers to anyone in need.

Fantastic team! Sonny, Jordan, and Henry were really good at packing everything into the truck and safely moving everything into two addresses. They were like the Tetris king and made everything fit nicely into the storage and also considered enough space for the airflow at the same time. The very professional team-they arrived early and got straight to it. They were able to help disassemble and reassemble the bed frame, and also a couple of metal racks in the garage, which helped me a lot as I have young kids. I sent Jamie a list of "big items" before the move, and they were able to send the right size truck, and I was really impressed with how it was "just right" in terms of truck space.
